ZeLIG Films at the 60th edition of the Festival dei Popoli

A massive ZeLIG presence at the upcoming edition of the Festival dei Popoli (2 - 9 November) in Florence.

Festival dei Popoli will celebrate its 60th anniversary from its foundation with a very special edition, made of special guests, special screenings, its competitive and non-competitive sections and its focus on the industry and the film education. ZeLIG will have 3 films in the official program in three different categories: Theodor, by Maria Boldrin, Julian Giacomuzzi and Nadja Werner, will celebrate its World Premiere in the International Competition (here the trailer); Il Passo dell'Acqua, by Antonio Di Biase, Mattia Ottaviani and Aaron Beitz, will celebrate its World Premiere in the Italian Competition (here the trailer), and Rising of the Setting Sun will be screened in the program "Doc at work campus". The festival is one of the main European film festivals devoted to documentary, and during the years has paid tributes to incredible filmmakers: Jean Renoir, Jean-Luc Godard, John Cassavetes, Ken Loach, Nagisa Oshima, Lindsay Anderson, Aleksandr Sokurov, Jørgen Leth, Raymond Depardon, André Sauvage, Vincent Dieutre, Claire Simon, Thomas Heise, Peter Mettler, Isaki Lacuesta, Andrés Di Tella, Marcel Łoziński and Paweł Łoziński, Jos de Putter, Mary Jimenez, Danielle Arbid, Kazuhiro Soda...
