Nach seiner Ausbildung zum DOP in Mailand begann Kurt Moser, Kameramann und Fotograf, für das ORF Auslandsstudio Italien zu arbeiten. Es folgte ein Residenzwechsel nach Rom wo er im Bereich Berichterstattung für ZDF, Pro 7 und das Schweizer Fernsehen tätig war. Ab 1996 arbeitet er für zahlreiche namhafte Sender wie ARD, ARTE, BBC und CNN im Bereich Dokumentarfilm und produziert unter anderem für TERRA X und UNIVERSUM. Es folgen einige Jahre als Kriegsberichterstatter in Krisengebieten weltweit. Für eine ZDF Doku in Afghanistan erhält er eine „Grimme Preis„ Nominierung. Eine seiner bekanntesten Arbeiten ist die 2009 erschienene Kino Dokumentation "Das Auge 3D Leben und Arbeiten am Cerro Paranal", welche mit dem "AWARD for BEST PICTURE " beim internationalen Film Festival Dimension3 in Paris ausgezeichnet wurde. Kurt beschäftigt sich bereits seit 2010 mit Ultra Large Format Fotografie und hat dutzende von historischen Büchern und Dokumenten durchforstet und die damaligen Vorgehensweisen auf die Möglichkeiten der Neuzeit übertragen. Er ist heute einer der wenigen Experten auf diesem Gebiet und seine Arbeiten finden international hohen Anklang.

Valentina Pedicini, ZeLIG graduate in 2010, will present her first fiction short film, 'It was yesterday', at the next edition of the International Film Festival of Venice, which takes place from 31.08 to 10.09.
