'Hidden Photos' wins at the Human Rights Film Festival 'This Human World'

'Hidden Photos', graduation film realized by Davide Grotta, Alexander Fontana and Gabriele Borghi, has won the award as best film in the category 'up and coming' section at the 2016 edition of International Human Rights Film Festival 'This Human World' in Vienna, Austria.

The prize consists of a theatrical distribution in Austria in 2017, and it has been given by an international jury among 8 feature length documentaries, from directors at their first or second long film and from all over the world. At the link the films in the section. The festival, quoting from the website, 'is a platform of cinematic art and critical discourse, a space of encounter and dialogue, and a meeting point for young innovative filmmakers, both local and international. We consider cinema not only an artistic form wherein narrative experiences are performed or created, but also an opportunity for the audience to step out of their comfort zone and into dialogue with new challenging realities.'

Meanwhile, our other graduation films continue their travel around the world: 'Vergot', by Cecilia Bozza Wolf, Pierpaolo Filomeno and Alex Grassi, will participate at the International Film Festival 'DocUnder 30', in Bologna, Italy, in the competition section 'Intimacy'. Screening on Thursday, December 15 at 17.40h at the Cineteca Nazionale.
