Our recent film "No Kids for me thank you" by Linda Nyman, Tamara Diepold and Emma Baruffaldi will celebrate its World Premiere, on Friday, 13th of September, at the upcoming edition of the International Film Festival "Visioni dal Mondo Immagini dalla Realtà".
From July, the 8th until July, the 13th, new admission exams have been taken place at the ZeLIG.
29 film students got their diplomas recently, as last moment of the three years professional course in documentary filmmaking, edition 2016-2019, which just ended at the end of June.
Editor
Born in Rome in 1980. Following completion of high school in Rome (Liceo Classico Torquato Tasso), he obtained a diploma in film editing from Rome’s Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 2004. He curated the editing and colour correction of many of Italy’s and foreign film directors, amongst whom: Abdellatif Kechiche, Pietro Marcello, Gabriele Mainetti, Claudio Noce, Pippo Mezzapesa, Daniele Segre, Lamberto Sanfelice e Carlo Sironi. In 2005 he taught post production at Turin’s Experimental Cinematography Centre, animation department, then at L’Aquila’s Centre in 2011. From 2013 to 2019 he taught digital post production at Rome’s Experimental Cinematography Centre. In 2016 he won the David di Donatello award for best film editing with the film “Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot” directed by Gabriele Marinetti, which won 7 awards. Amongst others, he curated the colour correction and post production of Mektoub My Love by Abdellatif Kechiche, selected by the 2017 Venice Film Festival, of Tir by Alberto Fasulo winner of the Marc’Aurelio d’Oro Roma award 2013 and of Sacro Gra by Gianfranco Rosi winner of the Leone d’Oro award in Venice in 2013.

Geboren 1953 in Turin, wo er 1979 sein Medizinstudium abschloss. 1984 gründet er zusammen mit Elena Filippini und Stefano Tealdi die Produktionsfirma „Stefilm“. Er betreut Workshops für Drehbuchschreiben, Produktion und Pitching für Dokumentarfilme in Europa, Docu Regio, für die Filmschule ZeLIG Schule in-Bozen, Filmfestival Raccontare l'Avventura-Trento, Bottega Finzioni-Bologna, IDS Academy, Scuola Holden Torino, Film Garage-Scuola Holden Turin, Sguardi Factory Lab-Arezzo, Maja. Edorado Fracchia ist Vorstandsmitglied von Doc/it und Documentary in Europe. Als Produzent von Stefilm kümmert er insbesondere für die "Erstlingsarbeiten" für Fernsehen und Kino. Sein letzter Film "My home, in Libya" von Martina Melilli stand in der offiziellen Auswahl von Locarno 2018 und ist der Gewinner des Corso Salani Award, Triest 2019.

Autor zahlreicher Dokumentarfilme, u.a. „Wohin denn ich. Der arme Hölderlin, NDR 1985, „Kriminalgeschichte einer Verfälschung. Der Fall Friedrich Nietzsche“, ZDF 1999, „Der Kreuzzug der Kinder“(zus. mit Martin Papirowski) ZDF, arte 2006; „Einmal einen Mönch vergiften. Produzent, Creative Producer
Georg Tschurtschenthaler, geboren in in Innichen (Italien) und wohnhaft in Berlin, arbeitet seit mehr als 15 Jahren als Kreativproduzent, Autor und Showrunner im Spiel- und Dokumentarfilmbereich. Er ist Mitgründer der „Echo Filmproduktion“ mit Sitz in Bozen. 2013 wurde er für „Lebt wohl, Genossen!“mit dem Grimme-Preis, dem wichtigsten deutschen Fernsehpreis, als Creative Producer ausgezeichnet. 2014 wurde er für den Emmy Award für „The Wanger Files“ nominiert. 2019 erhielt er den Grimme-Preis als Creative Producer für den Sundance-premierten-Dokumentarfilm „The Cleaners“.
The Valley, feature length documentary realised by ZeLIG graduate Nuno Escudeiro, with a team of mainly ZeLIG graduates (above all Nikolaus von Schlebrügge as DOP and Beatrice Segolini as Editor), received the Emerging International Filmmaker Award at the recent edition of the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival, which took place in Toronto, Canada, few days ago.
A group of ZeLIG graduates will have the World Premieres of their newest Feature Length Documentaries in the next days, at the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival and at DOK.fest Munich.
