Two days with Thomas Heise. Cinema as listening: Thomas Heise and the wounded History.

On Thursday, January 15, we open with a masterclass on the work of Thomas Heise, at ZeLIG – School for Documentary (9.30–12.30), tracing a line across the work of one of the greatest European filmmakers of all time, moving through time, memory, wounds, at the margins of History.

In the evening and on Saturday, DocDay, organised by FAS - Film Association South Tyrol, continues at Filmclub with the Halle–Neustadt trilogy:

Followed by an online Q&A with Katrin Schlösser (producer) and Peter Badel (DoP, long-time collaborator of Heise).

Followed by a Q&A with Marie Wilke, collaborator of Thomas Heise.

All screenings are original version with English subtitles and will be shown for the first time in a cinema in Bolzano.
