Valentina Pedicini, ZeLIG graduate in 2010, at the Venice Film Festival

Valentina Pedicini, ZeLIG graduate in 2010, will present her first fiction short film, 'It was yesterday', at the next edition of the International Film Festival of Venice, which takes place from 31.08 to 10.09.

The film will be part of the autonomous section of the Festival named 'Venice International Film Critics Week', organized by the SNCCI - National Union of Italian Film Critics. The film deals with Giò, a 13-year-old girl living in Southern Italy, who is the head of a boys’ gang and is secretly in love with the young Paola, and to win her heart, she is ready to compete with her male opponents. The film has been produced by the young Italian producer Alfredo Covelli and many ZeLIG students and graduates have been part of the film crew, including Jacob Stark as DOP, Martin Fliri as sound engineer,Pierluca Ditano as assistant director, Livia Romano and Maximilian Schlehuber as camera assistants, Beniamino Casagrande as key grip and Nikolaus von Schlebrügge as best boy grip.
