On Saturday 8th of September will start the final session of ESoDoc 2012! The session will take place in Bardonecchia (Italy), and represents a "dream that comes true", as it has been organized in partnership with Documentary in Europe, which will also held its workshop in the same days.
ZeLIG and Documentary in Europe are collaborating since the end of the 90ies, and we finally succeeded in joining our forces to create this important partnership for the documentary scene and industry in Italy.
During the final pitching (on Wednesday 12th at Palazzo delle Feste in Bardonecchia) the projects which have been developed throughout this year's course will be presented to a panel of experts coming from different sectors. The panel is composed by Martin Atkin (Large Blue, UK), Caroline Mutz (Arte, France), Nicolette Nol (VPRO, Netherlands) and Sandra Whipham (Britdoc Foundation, UK). The projects will be both "traditional" documentaries as well as cross-media projects, and deal with the social issues which are typical of ESoDoc.
Beside the final pitching, there will be also a series of screenings and public lectures. As in the previous sessions of ESoDoc 2012, we will be streaming live from Bardonecchia the public lectures, which will be available on www.esodoc.eu.
