ESoDoc - European Social Documentary is a EU's Media training initiative which focuses on a special genre of documentary production that is particularly suitable for the new multiplatform world: documentaries that draw attention to human rights, social justice and environmental protection, particularly in the developing world. ESoDoc wants to prepare professionals for the markets of tomorrow and make them part of the changing audiovisual world. ESoDoc offers three 1-week sessions held over a 6-month period, during which participants, either individually or in groups, develop a documentary film project. |

ESoDoc Internazional is addressed to African, Indian and European filmmakers, new media professionals and NGO representatives who want to develop social documentary projects suitable for the International Markets. Through online conferences, lectures and case studies, we provide an innovative didactic approach in different storytelling techniques and platforms (i.e. Participatory Video, New Media) and in pitching skills.

| ESoDoc INDIA, a Media International preparatory action project, organized by ZeLIG and the Indian partner-institution Formedia wants to create a common platform for Indian and European documentary filmmakers who are working on social or environmental themes. ESoDoc INDIA aims to develop documentary projects that have a potential for the Indian and European market and are intended for broadcast, NGO, DVD and/or Internet access. ESoDoc INDIA offers one residential workshop of one week. This workshop will be preceded by e-tutoring of projects in development over a period of 8-10 weeks. |

LINCT - Leveraging International Networks for Co-Productions and Training - is a project supported by the EU’s MEDIA International Preparatory Action with the specific aim of creating a dialogue for promoting documentary co-productions between India and Europe. LINCT foresees online-conferences and on residential workshop in New Delhi from 16th to 21st of November 2009.
